Attorney Bruce R. Gilbert is a lead member of Smith Freed & Eberhard’s Construction and Development Group. His practice at the law firm focuses on construction defect litigation and civil litigation defense in Portland, Oregon, and communities throughout Washington.
Before turning his attention to law, Mr. Gilbert graduated with honors from the University of Washington with a degree in mechanical engineering. In 1995, he graduated magna cum laude from Seattle University Law School, and was subsequently admitted to both the Oregon and the Washington State Bar Associations. The combination of Bruce’s legal training and engineering education has proved useful to Smith Freed & Eberhard in cases dealing with construction defects.
