Collin C. McKean is a partner at McKinley Irvin and is located in the firm's offices in Portland, Oregon, and Vancouver, Washington. He focuses his practice on family law, primarily involving divorce matters, child custody and support, domestic violence and parental relocation. Mr. McKean also provides advice and counsel on family law matters that involve military and LGBT issues, and his accounting background has proven valuable when dealing with complex divorce property division matters.

Mr. McKean earned his Juris Doctor from Lewis & Clark Law School in 2005 after receiving both a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science in 2000 from Warner Pacific College in Portland, Oregon. Admitted to practice in both Oregon and Washington, he has been with McKinley Irvin since 2012. An active participant in several professional organizations, Mr. McKean is a member of the Washington State Bar Association Family Law Section and the American and Oregon State bar associations. He is currently a member of the board of directors of the Lawyers' Campaign for Equal Justice and treasurer of the Oregon Chapter of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts. Mr. McKean has also been a fellow at the Oregon State Bar Leadership College.

Highly regarded by his fellow professionals, Mr. McKean has received a 10.0 "Superb" peer-review rating through Avvo. In 2007, the Oregon New Lawyers Division of the Oregon State Bar honored Mr. McKean with its Public Service Award, and in 2010 he received the Award of Merit from the Multnomah Bar Association Young Lawyers Section. Freely sharing his knowledge with others, he has delivered presentations on family law topics at continuing legal education programs in Oregon, and he has written articles for Multnomah Lawyer as well as The Young Lawyer, the publication of the Young Lawyers Division of the American Bar Association.
