Professional Experience: In 2002, Grace joined Stahancyk, Kent & Hook in the firm’s Bend, Oregon office. After a year in Bend, Grace transferred to the Portland, Oregon office, where she has been ever since. In recognition of her hard work, success and dedication, Grace was invited to be a Shareholder of the firm in June 2008.

Education: Grace received her Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration in 1998, and her Juris Doctorate in 2001, from the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona. While in law school, she participated in a child advocacy clinic, representing minors in various stages of dependency proceedings, and interned at the Arizona Attorney General's Office in the Department of Fraud and Public Corruption. She was also a note and comment editor for the Arizona Journal of International and Comparative Law and was active in the National Asian Pacific American Law Students Association.

Community Activities: Grace is a role model, leader and mentor for young attorneys. Grace is a Member of the Oregon Law Institute Board of Directors (2010-present) and a Member of the Oregon Family Law Executive Committee (2008-present). She takes part in the annual Court Care fundraiser to assist Multnomah County courts (2007-present) and was a Presiding Judge in the 2005-6 Oregon Mock Trial Competition.

Awards: By virtue of her acute legal mind and strong work ethic, Grace has earned the respect of every attorney on staff and many in the legal community. Grace was voted a Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2011 and nominated for the Portland Business Journal’s 2010 Orchid Award, which recognizes outstanding women in business.
