Mr. Karmel is licensed to practice in the States of Oregon and Washington. Mr. Karmel has tried numerous jury and court trials throughout his 27-year career in state and federal courts throughout the States of Oregon and Washington, with his primary practice within the tri-county Portland community and Clark County, Washington. Mr. Karmel maintains a litigation-oriented practice with a focus on family law matters. Mr. Karmel has extensive experience representing men, women, and sexual minorities in the litigation of complex family law matters involving custody, divorce and post-divorce modifications. Mr. Karmel is counsel for a number of local businesses and professionals in the community. Mr. Karmel has been a panel attorney for the Western Conference of Teamsters for the last 17 years.
