Attorney Joshua Shulman knows that good trial lawyers work hard and have genuine concern for their clients. As a senior at Reed College, he had applied to law school, and while the application process was proceeding, took a position at a large corporate law firm in Boston. However, after working for a firm representing faceless corporate entities and focusing on maintaining billable hours, Mr. Shulman was so turned off by his experience he pulled his law school applications. He graduated college and worked as an organic farmer, teacher and real estate developer, but his true calling of being an advocate for injured Oregonians was too strong.
Mr. Shulman attended and graduated with his law degree from New York University School of Law, spending his last year as a visiting student at Lewis & Clark Law School in order to return to Portland, Oregon, and proactively work on re-establishing ties. As founding partner in the firm, Shulman DuBois LLC, Mr. Shulman focuses on representing individuals struggling in the wake of a serious accident caused by the negligence of another. He and his firm are proud to protect the rights of accident victims.
