Attorney, Kristin Larson, heads the estate planning department at Stahancyk, Kent, Johnson & Hook and works out of the offices in Bend and Prineville. Kristin graduated from Pomona College in Claremont, California, in 1992 with a bachelor's degree in American Studies. After six years working in the Portland business community, Kristin returned to Lewis & Clark Northwestern School of Law in Portland, Oregon. She graduated cum laude in 2002 with a Juris Doctorate, and became a member of the Oregon State Bar in 2002. A native of Prineville, Oregon, Ms. Larson’s Prineville roots eventually led her to SKJH. (Founder, Jody Stahancyk is also a Prineville native.) Ms. Larson now lives in Bend with her daughter. She is active in community organizations including the board of directors for Grandma’s House (a home for pregnant and parenting teenage girls) and Grace First Lutheran Church. She also serves on a number of professional committees including Oregon Women Lawyers Foundation (board member and grants committee chair), Deschutes County Bar (member), Central Oregon Matrimonial Attorneys (member), estate planning and family law bar sections (member). In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, cooking and attending local theater.
