Mr. Smith received his bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Oregon. He continued his education at the University of Oregon and received his J.D. from the School of Law. Mr. Smith was admitted to the Oregon State Bar Association in 1975. He went on to found the law firm of Smith Freed & Eberhard P.C. and continues to help clients navigate first-party property issues.

Attorney Robert Smith has more than 34 years of litigation experience in all aspects of insurance defense.   • Handled numerous first party lawsuits at the appellate level, many of which established new laws in those areas.
