Matthew Kaplan founded Kaplan Law, LLC in 2003 with a desire to help injury victims and their families achieve some measure of justice. Mr. Kaplan represents family members of wrongful death victims and other people that have been severely injured by either someone else’s careless actions or a corporation that put their profits ahead of the safety of either their workers or customers. Mr. Kaplan focusses his practice on injuries to children, motor vehicle crashes, dangerous products, and worker safety.
Mr. Kaplan received his J.D. from Loyola Law School in Los Angelis, CA in 1996. He is licensed to practice law in both Oregon and Washington, as well as the U.S. District Court in Oregon. He is a member of the American Association for Justice and the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association.
In addition to working as a trial attorney, Mr. Kaplan is a father of two rambunctious boys. He is also a second degree black belt in Taekwon Do, an aspiring triathlete, and volunteer board member for Safe Kids Oregon.
