Micah Stolowitz founded Stofoco with partners Ford and Cowger in 2007. Stolowitz has been a member of the Oregon State Bar for over 25 years, past President of the Oregon Patent Law Association, and Adjunct Professor at Northwestern School of Law. Stolowitz's combination of technical expertise and patent litigation experience earned him appointment as a Special Master of the federal district court. He has also testified as an expert witness.  Stofoco maintains a friendly, informal atmosphere while pursuing a busy, top tier intellectual property and patent practice. The firm focus is on a variety of technologies in the electronic, software, and communication arts.
