Tom D'Amore is a licensed trial attorney in Oregon, Washington and California and practices in all three states. Tom worked at a Big Eight Accounting firm prior to attending law school and was a licensed CPA in Oregon and California. He founded D'Amore & Associates in 1994 and has immersed himself in personal injury law, medical malpractice and insurance bad faith, dedicating his time and work to injured people and their families. He is very proud of the accomplishments of his firm and the firm's emphasis on its caring and compassionate attitude towards the firm's clients. Tom has achieved Martindale-Hubbell's highest rating (AV), which reflects the highest ethical standards and quality of legal services. Tom is a board certified civil trial advocate of the National Board of Trial advocacy.Nationally, Tom is the 2008-09chair of the Motor Vehicles and Premises Liability Section of the American Association for Justice (AAJ), formerly Association of Trial Lawyers of America (ATLA). Tom is also a State Delegate for AAJ, representing Oregon. Tom is a long-time President's Club member and contributor to AAJ. Tom is an Executive Committee member, President's Circle member and Board of Governors member of the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association. He is an Eagle member of the Washington State Trial Lawyers Association, (WSTLA) and a member of the nationally acclaimed Public Justice (formerly the Trial Lawyers for Public Justice). Tom is a member of the Oregon State Bar's House of Delegates. Tom also served as the treasurer of Oregon ballot measures affecting consumers and the rights of the injured and disabled, and treasurer of the successful re-election campaign of Oregon Governor Ted Kulongoski. Tom is on the Board of Directors of Good Deeds. Good Deeds is a not for profit organization that provides assistance to families with special medical circumstances. He is married and the father of three children. He is active in his community and coaches numerous youth sports from the highest competitive level to the recreation level, including football, basketball and baseball. Tom coached his son's baseball team that won the Pacific Northwest Championship of Cal Ripken Baseball and went on to compete in the Cal Ripken World Series in Aberdeen, Maryland, where his team placed 2nd in the United States. Tom is also active in coaching youth basketball and football through the Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) wherein his teams have won multiple Portland City Championships.
