Profile

Tim Williams is the lead litigation attorney at Dwyer Williams Potter Attorneys, LLP, a law firm with six offices across Oregon. As the firm's primary litigation attorney, he has handled numerous litigation cases from around the state and has developed a reputation for his skill in jury trials.

Mr. Williams' primary focus is personal injury cases, including motor vehicle accidents, airline accidents, premises liability accidents, workplace accidents and animal attacks. He has successfully represented clients with subsequent injuries to neck and back, nerves, brain, bones, joints, and other tissues and organs. He also has experience in trying wrongful death cases.

Mr. Williams grew up in Grants Pass, Oregon. While attending Southern Oregon University in Ashland, Oregon, he played on the basketball team, which ranked second in the nation during the 1998-99 season. He later graduated summa cum laude with honors, and received a Bachelor of Science degree in criminology.

Having graduated from the University of Oregon School of Law in 2003, Mr. Williams was admitted to the Oregon State Bar the same year. In 2004, he was admitted to practice in the United States District Court, District of Oregon. In 2010, he was admitted to the Federal Bar and is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court.

During his eventful legal career, Mr. Williams has been extremely active in the legal community. He serves on numerous organizational boards, including the Board of Governors for the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association, and the House of Delegates, Litigation Executive Committee and other committees for the Oregon State Bar. He also writes for several legal publications.

Mr. Williams is a Rotary volunteer and serves on the board of directors for the Ronald McDonald House in Oregon.

He was recognized by Oregon Super Lawyers® as an Oregon Rising Star® in 2010.
