Alan S. Gold is a 1973 graduate of Dickinson College, magna cum laude, with honors in Latin, and a graduate of the University of Virginia Law School, 1976. Gold clerked for U.S. District Judge, the Honorable Malcolm Muir, of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania from 1976-1978. Gold has litigated a variety of appeals for both appellants and appellees in the Superior, Commonwealth, and Supreme Courts of Pennsylvania on a multitude of issues, including novel questions of law relating to medical malpractice, premises liability, and commercial litigation. Gold has also appeared extensively before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third, Fourth, and Sixth Circuits and in federal and state appellate courts throughout the nation.
