After graduating from Harvard Law School, Mr. Binder clerked for two years for Chief Justice Charles Alvin Jones of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. He served as a judge pro tem for the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas for five years. Mr. Binder is the author of the Hearsay Handbook, now published by the West Company. He is also the author of Binder on Pennsylvania Evidence, now in its sixth edition.
