David Deratzian is a 1987 graduate of Temple University Beasley School of Law. Since then, he has practiced as a trial attorney primarily in Eastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey in civil rights, labor, and employment law. David became associated to the firm of Hahalis & Kounoupis, P.C., of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania in 1997 and later joined as a full-time member of the firm. The firm has been recognized as one of the premier employee-side, employment law firms, representing clients in Title VII, ADA, ADEA, PHRA, FMLA, and other labor litigation matters. The firm has been Solicitor to the Bethlehem FOP Lodge since 2003. David has been the Disability Rights Chairperson for the National Employment Lawyers Association and has spoken regularly at seminars sponsored by NELA, ABA, and PBI.
