David S. Senoff is a partner with Caroselli Beachler McTiernan & Conboy, LLC and the managing attorney of the Philadelphia office. He is a 1989 graduate of Temple University and a 1992 graduate of the Temple University School of Law.
Attorney Senoff was selected for membership in the Million Dollar Advocates Forum in 2003 and the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum in 2008. Membership is limited to attorneys who have won million and multi-million dollar verdicts, awards and settlements for their clients. The award recognizes receipients' excellence in advocacy.
Mr. Senoff's practice focuses on insurance and managed care bad faith cases, class action litigation involving insurance disputes and other issues, insurance coverage disputes and complex personal injury litigation including medical malpractice actions. He was recently elected to the Board of Directors of the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association. In 2010, he was elected to the Board of Governors of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice and selected as the Co-Chair of the Insurance Bad Faith Section of the Association. Mr. Senoff was also selected for membership in the National Trial Lawyers, a membership organization that accepts only 100 trial lawyers from each state.
Attorney Senoff represented physicians in a class action law suit against health insurance companies and health maintenance organizations over reimbursements to physicians for medical care provided to patient subscribers, as well as a seperate class action on behalf of dentists who were denied millions of dollars when insurance providers paid commissions to consultants with government money.
Mr. Senoff served as Plaintiff's Liason Counsel in a multi-district federal action to recover losses from the sale of equity-indexed annuities and other fixed annuities with excessive deferral periods that were fraudulently sold to the elderly. David also represented the parents of a child who died of a drug overdose after being denied drug rehabilitation despite medical authorization. He also obtained an injunction barring a health insurance managed care organization from denying a first remission bone marrow transplant to a patient suffering from agressive T-cell lymphoma. Currently, Mr. Senoff is one of the lead plaintiffs' counsel in the Luzerne County, Pennsylvania Juvenile Litigation, a consolidated group of both class action and non-class action cases filed by juveniles in Luzerne County who were wrongfully adjudicated and detained in violation of their federal civil rights and the United States Constitution.
Attorney Senoff has written extensively on the topics of managed care liability and insurance bad faith. David also serves as a Judge Pro Tempore in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas.
