Dorothy K. Phillips, frequent author and lecturer on family law issues, has been featured on CBS, NBC, CNN and ABC – most recently for her role in obtaining a Pre Birth Order in Philadelphia County. She has been published in The Wall Street Journal, the Philadelphia Inquirer, the Philadelphia Business Journal, Harper’s Bazaar, Philadelphia Magazine, and The Legal Intelligencer, and is a monthly columnist for the “Domestic Disputes” column of the Pennsylvania Law Weekly. Phillips recently presented as a speaker on Ethics and Family Law Agreements at a CLE seminar sponsored by Sterling Education Services. Ms. Phillips is featured in the June 29, 2009 issue of Newsweek Magazine as well as the dual August 23rd & 30, 2010 issue of Newsweek Magazine; Who’s Who in American Law, Who’s Who in American Women and Who’s Who in America. She is a Board Member of Philadanco; Member of the Philadelphia Art Museum; Louis D. Brandeis Law Society; National Foundation for Celiac Awareness (NFCA); and is featured in Super Lawyers in 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008. She is also recognized as one of the Top 50 Female Attorneys in Philadelphia. Phillips was recently named as a Top Lawyer by Main Line Today. Enjoying an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell, she is listed in their Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers. A former family therapist, Phillips received her B.S. from the University of Pennsylvania, her M.A. from New York University and her J.D. from Villanova University School of Law.
