John J. List, Esquire is a graduate of St. Joseph's University and the Widener University School of Law. Mr. List is admitted to practice in the State and Federal Courts as well as the United States Court of Military Appeals. Specializing for the past 30 years in Criminal Defense Mr. List brings a unique prospective to his practice having served as Special Agent with the United States Secret Service and then as a Detective with the Criminal Investigation Division, Major Crimes Division of the Delaware County District Attorney's Office while attending Law School. Over the past thirty years Mr. List has successfully defended at trial homicide charges, vehicular homicide cases, felony assault charges, weapon offenses, robbery, felony drug charges, rape and sexual assault charges. Many of these cases have received local and regional press coverage. Mr. List has also been recognized as a Pennsylvania Criminal Defense Attorney by Philadelphia Magazine, Pennsylvania Super Lawyers edition. Mr. List is also featured in the 2009 Main Line Today Magazine Top Lawyers edition. He is a past President and cofounder of the Delaware County Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, he has been a guest speaker at several functions sponsored by the Association, Lawyers Groups and the Judiciary.
