John P. Gismondi is the founder of the Law Offices of Gismondi & Associates, located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Since 1981, he has been the firm's leading trial attorney in personal injury and medical malpractice lawsuits.
Mr. Gismondi graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 1978. Within one week of opening his own practice in 1981, he won his first solo case in a 4-day jury trial, an unprecedented achievement for a young lawyer. In the 25 years since, he has gone on to achieve successful results in personal injury trials for hundreds of his clients.
Mr. Gismondi often speaks at seminars and is a frequent author of various articles on personal injury. He is also actively involved in his alma mater, regularly teaching courses in trial advocacy. To honor his achievements, in 2004 the school established the John P. Gismondi Civil Litigation Certificate Program, dedicated to providing special training for law students who wish to become courtroom attorneys.
Mr. Gismondi is AV-rated.. He currently serves as the chairman of the medical malpractice section of the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association and is an invited member of the Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County.
