Profile

I am very active in the field of shareholder rights, encompassing securities fraud cases as well as corporate governance matters. My most recent successful case was the resolution of claims against the PHLX and its investment banker buyers of a 90% interest in the PHLX. I represented the original shareholders and recovered $99 million for my class. I was the lawyer who filed the case, handled all matters, and litigated the case until settlement, one day before trial.I am presently one of the lead lawyers in the multi district litigation against numerous mutual funds for allowing maket timers into their funds. I presently represent the class of investors in the Deutschebank/Scudder family of mutual funds. I have also represented the class of investors in the Alliance family of funds as well as the Putnam family of funds.
