Marijo Murphy has concentrated her practice for the last 29 years on Family Law. Her earlier career as a tax practitioner, with clients such as Disney World and Greyhound Financial and their executives, gave her the skills to both negotiate and litigate complex economic matters in equitable distribution and to comprehend and adjust for the myriad tax issues in divorce. She believes that it is in the economic interest of the parties, in most instances, to reach a pretrial settlement, but she is well prepared to litigate when this is not possible. Ms. Murphy has been Chair of the Family Law Section and the Women Lawyers' Division and Treasurer of the Bucks County Bar Association. She frequently teaches CLE courses and has been a lecturer at local colleges.
