Vincent J. Quatrini Jr. is a founder and managing partner of Quatrini Rafferty, P.C., Pennsylvania. Focusing primarily in personal injury, he handles the firm's workers' compensation claims and advocates for injured workers throughout Pennsylvania.

Mr. Quatrini has more than 30 years of experience in personal injury. He has been named one of The Best Lawyers in America in Workers' Compensation. He has also been selected by his peers as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer for each year since 2004.

As a well-known leader and active member of his community, Mr. Quatrini has given several lectures on workers' compensation, and is one of the co-authors of the annual Pennsylvania Workers' Compensation Practice & Procedure publications. He is a member of the Westmoreland County and Pennsylvania bar associations, where he has held several leadership positions. He is also an active member of the Westmoreland County Academy of Trial Lawyers and serves on the Workers' Compensation Rules Committee.

Verdicts and Settlements:

  • Successfully argued to the Third Circuit Court of Appeals in Gilliland v. Heckler that the administrative law judge must give considerable weight to the opinions of a treating physician in a social security disability case
  • Pawlosky v. WCAB (Latrobe Brewing Co.) convinced the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania to dramatically redefine the term "injury" under the Workers' Compensation Act to include any disease that constitutes an insult to the body as well as any work-related aggravation of a non-occupational disease
