Walter Weir, Jr., managing partner of Weir & Partners LLP, concentrates his practice on commercial and banking litigation, general business representation, bankruptcy, and white collar criminal law. Mr. Weir has represented major lending and financial institutions in the handling of complex commercial litigation, creditors' rights, fraud, bankruptcy and insolvency matters. He also handles loan workouts, loan documentation, general corporate and commercial matters. Mr. Weir frequently lectures on selected topics regarding bankruptcy law, debt collection, lender liability, and general lending practices. He is a member of the American, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Philadelphia Bar Associations. Mr. Weir served for three years as a Master at the Temple American Inn of Court.
