Thomas A. Sieben

Thomas A. Sieben is one of the founding attorneys of the law firm Sieben & Cotter, PLLC, located in South St. Paul, Minnesota. Focusing his practice on criminal defense, he handles cases involving charges of violent crimes, drunk driving and other alleged wrongdoing. Mr. Sieben represents clients in the Minneapolis-St. Paul metropolitan area, including Ramsey, Hennepin, Wright, Scott and Carver counties and throughout all of Minnesota.

Mr. Sieben graduated in 2002 from William Mitchell College of Law, located in St. Paul. During law school, he worked with the Ramsey County Public Defender's office, where he decided to devote his professional life to protecting the rights of people who are facing criminal charges. Prior to law school, he graduated from St. John's University.

Having represented clients in trials throughout Minnesota, Mr. Sieben has earned the respect of his peers in the legal profession for his practical knowledge in the area of criminal defense law. For a number of years, he has served as a member of the Minnesota Supreme Court Advisory Committee on the Rules of Criminal Procedure.

Committed to legal education and involvement in his community, Mr. Sieben has served as an adjunct professor at the University of St. Thomas School of Law, where he taught a course on trial skills. He has also volunteered his time at numerous schools in the Twin Cities area to educate students about the criminal justice system, criminal law and trial practice.

Mr. Sieben is a member of professional organizations such as the Minnesota State Bar Association and the Dakota County Bar Association.
