Timothy J. Conlon is the founder of TJC ∙ ESQ, PSC, a Providence, Rhode Island, law firm dedicated to resolving family law matters for clients statewide. Tim has spent more than 30 years of his life working to protect the rights of children and families in Rhode Island's courts and has handled a variety of complex family law cases involving divorce, separation, custody, visitation and other issues. Tim also works with child molestation/child abuse victims and their families, aggressively advocating on their behalf to obtain compensation from abusers and their employers, including school departments, group homes and religious institutions. Tim and his staff provide all of the firm’s clients with personal attention, use state-of-the-art litigation technology, including e-copies of case documents and electronic discovery tools, and work with accountants, forensic experts and other specialists, as needed.
Tim is a 1980 graduate of Vanderbilt University Law School. He is the current chair of the American Association for Justice's family law section and frequently lectures on family law issues at legal seminars throughout the country. In 2003, the Rhode Island Trial Lawyers Association awarded Tim its annual Case of the Year Award for his work on Rhode Island's clergy abuse cases.
