Profile

William Devereaux is a nationally recognized criminal defense lawyer and civil litigator. His experience includes white collar criminal defense and complex litigation at the state and federal level. Mr. Devereaux represents individuals and corporations in grand jury investigations and is the author of Rhode Island's Guide to Grand Jury Service. Prior to entering private practice, he served as an Assistant Attorney General during which time he led the prosecution of organized crime and environmental violations. Mr. Devereaux is admitted to practice law in Rhode Island and Massachusetts and before the U.S. District Court, First Circuit, and the U.S. Court of Military Appeals.
