Mr. Ashmore was an Assistant United States Attorney for the District of South Carolina from 1990-1996, serving in the Civil and Criminal Divisions.  He maintains an AV rating with Martindale-Hubbel, the highest possible rating in ability and ethical standards.  His trial experience includes dozens of criminal State and Federal cases.  He also has extensive civil trial experience bringing numerous plaintiff's cases and defending individuals and some of the world's largest corporations in State and Federal Court.  He has served as local counsel to some of the largest law firms in the nation.  He has been appointed by Federal and State Court judges to marshal assets of over 150 million dollars.  He has also been appointed by the South Carolina Supreme Court to the Commission on Lawyer Conduct and serves on the Upstate Citizens Judicial Screening Committee.  Mr. Ashmore was born and raised in Greenville, South Carolina and is married with two children.
