Profile

Ms. Ervin handles a wide range of employment issues, including sex, race, and age discrimination; First Amendment; South Carolina Whistleblower Act; wrongful discharge; breach of employment contract; and Americans with Disabilities Act. After graduating summa cum laude from the University of the South (Phi Beta Kappa), Ms. Ervin earned her J.D. from Duke University in 1982. She serves as Chair of her firm’s Employment Law Practice Group, is past chair of ALFA’s Labor & Employment Practice Group, and past President of the Charleston County Bar. An experienced trial attorney, Ms. Ervin is a Fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers and an Associate Member of the American Board of Trial Advocates. She is certified by the SC Supreme Court as an Employment & Labor Law Specialist.
