Charles L. Henshaw Jr. is a partner at Furr & Henshaw, a Myrtle Beach-based law firm devoted exclusively to representing injured plaintiffs in medical malpractice and personal injury cases throughout the state of South Carolina. In a career spanning more than 30 years, Mr. Henshaw has successfully tried and settled countless lawsuits involving medical negligence claims related to birth injuries, surgical errors, medication errors, failures to diagnose or properly treat patients and various other issues. Mr. Henshaw has also successfully represented clients injured as the result of property owner negligence (premises liability law) and motor vehicle accidents of every type.
Mr. Henshaw is a graduate of the University of South Carolina (B.A., 1974) and University of South Carolina School of Law (J.D., 1980). He is an active member of several professional organizations as well, including the South Carolina Bar Association, the South Carolina Association for Justice (past president), the American Bar Association and the American Board of Trial Advocates. Mr. Henshaw’s professional honors and recognitions include an AV Preeminent* peer review rating through Martindale-Hubbell and the 2005 President’s Award from the South Carolina Association for Justice.
