Charles L. Henshaw Jr. is a partner at Furr & Henshaw, a Myrtle Beach-based law firm devoted exclusively to representing injured plaintiffs in medical malpractice and personal injury cases throughout the state of South Carolina. In a career spanning more than 30 years, Mr. Henshaw has successfully tried and settled countless lawsuits involving medical negligence claims related to birth injuries, surgical errors, medication errors, failures to diagnose or properly treat patients and various other issues. Mr. Henshaw has successfully represented clients injured as the result of property owner negligence (premises liability law) and motor vehicle accidents of every type.

Mr. Henshaw is a graduate of the University of South Carolina (B.A., 1974) and University of South Carolina School of Law (J.D., 1980). He was a member of The South Carolina Law Review and Order of Wig and Robe.  He is an active member of the South Carolina Bar Association, the South Carolina Association for Justice, the American Bar Association and the American Board of Trial Advocates.   He has been president of the South Carolina Trial Lawyers Association and has served in the South Carolina Bar House of Delegates.  Mr. Henshaw has been honored with an AV Preeminent* peer review rating through Martindale-Hubbell.  He has also been honored with  President’s Awards of the South Carolina Association for Justice in 2005 and 2008.
