D. Cravens Ravenel is a partner at the law firm of Baker, Ravenel & Bender, L.L.P. in Columbia, South Carolina. Mr. Ravenel has extensive litigation and alternative dispute resolution experience, and a primary practice emphasis on personal injury and medical malpractice defense.
A U.S. Marine Corps veteran, former school teacher and 1970 honors graduate of the University of South Carolina's School of Law, Mr. Ravenel has been selected by his peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America publication and South Carolina Super Lawyers listings for personal injury litigation, and as a "Top Lawyer" in corporate counsel for 2010. He is also an invited fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, an honor reserved for 1 percent or fewer of the total attorneys in any given state.
