Maintaining an active practice in South Carolina and Georgia, Dale Akins established the Akins Law Firm, LLC in 2006. He is a graduate of Furman University and Mercer University School of Law. He is admitted in all state and federal courts in South Carolina and Georgia and mainly concentrates his practice on federal civil disputes. Mr. Akins is a member of AAJ, SCAJ, and GTLA. He is a certified Mediator, frequent speaker for CLE, and permanent member of the Fourth Circuit Judicial Conference. He has been rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell and is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. He currently serves on the Commission on Lawyer Conduct for the SC Supreme Court and has recently become a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates.
