Donald Coggins is a well-known South Carolina trial lawyer in state and federal cases involving serious personal injury, product liability, employment law and nursing home negligence. He is a managing partner in the law firm Harrison, White, Smith & Coggins, P.C., of Spartanburg, South Carolina. Admitted to the bar in 1984, attorney Donald Coggins is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, the 4^th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina and trial and appellate courts throughout South Carolina.

Included among the high-profile, landmark cases he has handled are the state of South Carolina v. Eli Lilly, which resulted in a $45 million pharmaceutical settlement, and Bellsey v. Betras Plastics, which resulted in a $1.3 million employment verdict.
