Profile

Mark C. Joye is not only a highly respected personal injury attorney who handles a full spectrum of cases, from brain injuries and defective products to nursing home abuse and workers’ compensation, but he is a strong advocate for positive change in his profession and community. He has also served as lead counsel in numerous cases involving victims who suffered catastrophic injuries or wrongful death through car or trucking accidents.

Mr. Joye earned his J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law and joined the South Carolina Bar in 1989. Currently, he is board-certified as a trial advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. In addition, he is the current president of the South Carolina Association for Justice and the Charleston chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates.

When not representing clients at the Joye Law Firm in North Charleston, South Carolina, or lecturing to state and national bar associations, Mr. Joye is often found volunteering with the Charleston scouting program. He proudly holds the rank of Eagle Scout.
