Bill Coates handles a wide variety of commercial and corporate litigation in South Carolina and the Southeast. With over 30 years of trial experience, his practice encompasses commercial and corporate litigation, as well as health care and environmental litigation. A former federal prosecutor, Bill handles white collar criminal defense matters and governmental investigations for a variety of clients. A former board member of DRI, he is a member of FDCC and ABOTA. He has served as president of the South Carolina Defense Trial Attorneys' Association, and as chair of the South Carolina Bar's Judicial Qualifications Committee and the South Carolina State Ethics Commission.
