Profile

Bill is one of the most effective and creative lawyers in the state. Bill has tried in excess of 50 complex cases to a jury in either state or federal court since his career began in 1992. Bill received the President’s Award for both the National and South Carolina Associations of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He serves on the faculty of the National Criminal Defense College and is a nationally recognized speaker on topics ranging from scientific evidence to white collar defense. Bill began as a public defender and is now one of the founders of Sanders & Nettles, LLC.
