David S. Hagy is a trial lawyer who represents individuals and business injured as a result of the wrongful conduct of others. He has extensive litigation, trial and appellate experience in business disputes, professional negligence, complex class actions, and personal injury cases. He is licensed and admitted to practice in trial and appellate courts in Tennessee and Georgia. Mr. Hagy graduated in 1990 from Duke University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. In 1995, Mr. Hagy graduated, with honors, from Duke University School of Law. Mr. Hagy began his legal career with King & Spalding, LLP, Atlanta’s largest law firm, where he concentrated on complex, high-stakes product liability defense for large manufacturing companies. In 1998, Mr. Hagy joined Doffermyre, Shields, Canfield & Knowles, LLC, a prominent litigation boutique in Atlanta, where he represented individuals and businesses in complex business disputes, class actions, and catastrophic personal injury cases. Mr. Hagy became a member of the firm in 2006. In 2008, Mr. Hagy moved his law practice from Atlanta to Nashville when he relocated to Tennessee with his wife, Suzanne Hagy, a Nashville native.
