Mr. Mueller is a graduate of Southern Illinois University (B.A. in Economics 1984), Washington State University (M.A. in Economics 1990), and University of Mississippi Law School (J.D. 1994). He is admitted to practice in all Tennessee courts since 1995 and also admitted to practice in the United States District Court for West Tennessee, United States District Court for Middle Tennessee, Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.
Jeff Mueller was certified as a criminal trial specialist in 2000 by the Tennessee Commission on Continuing Legal Education & Specialization and Board certified as a criminal trial advocate in 2000 by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. Mr. Mueller has been a member of the Board of Examiners of the National Board of Trial Advocacy since 2003.
In 2007 Mr. Mueller was awarded the rating of Top 100 Tennessee Trial Lawyers by the American Trial Lawyers Association. He is also the attorney advisor of For the Defense, a publication of the Tennessee Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Mr. Mueller is also an active member of several civic orgnaizations, government boards and bar associations. He is a Better Business Bureau arbitrator, Tennessee Rule 31 listed family mediator and FINRA arbitrator. Mr. Mueller received the BBB Arbitrator Service award in 2009.
