Joe Lee Wyatt, managing partner of McWhirter, Wyatt & Elder, PLLC, was one of the founding partners of the firm in 1979. His practice has varied over the past 30 years but now involves primarily insurance and corporate defense in the areas of professional malpractice, municipal liability, construction litigation, product liability, employment practice litigation, and trucking and automobile litigation. During the past 22 years he has served as an Assistant City Attorney, Chief Prosecutor, and Police Legal Advisor for the City of Germantown. In that position, he has gained valuable experience in criminal investigation, accident investigation, and problems related to employment practices.
