Virginia Lee Story, a dedicated Tennessee attorney with extensive trial experience, began working in her father's law office at an early age. She graduated with her J.D. from the Nashville School of Law in 1985 and established her own law practice in Franklin, Tennessee, the same year. Over the last few decades, her law firm has grown to become Abernathy, Story, Stovall, Niner, Hood, Harris, Garner & Ashworth, An Association of Attorneys.

Ms. Story's practice areas include family law, adoptions, criminal law, business law, wills and estates and general civil litigation. She is a respected Rule 31 Listed Family Mediator and a member of the Trial Lawyers Association, the Williamson County Bar Association and the Tennessee John Marshall American Inn of Court. She is also a fellow of the Tennessee Bar Foundation.

Ms. Story has been listed in Best Lawyers three different times and selected for inclusion in Super Lawyers every year since 2007.
