Nick C. Nichols, senior partner, is a member of the American College of Trial Lawyers, International Academy of Trial Lawyers, International Society of Barristers and the Inner Circle of Advocates, which consists of the top 100 national plaintiff lawyers. He is a past president of the American Board of Trial Advocates - Houston Division. He received the Southern Trial Lawyers Association War Horse Award and the Rice University Alumni Association Distinguished Alumni Award. He is listed in The Best Lawyers in America and Best Lawyers in Texas.

Randall O. Sorrels, partner, is board-certified in both personal injury trial and civil trial law, a distinction held by a fraction of Texas attorneys. In 2007, Texas Monthly listed Sorrels as one of the top 100 lawyers in Texas, and Texas Lawyer selected him as one of four “Top Notch” personal injury lawyers in the state. He is a past president of the Houston Bar Association, Houston Trial Lawyers Association and Houston Trial Lawyers Foundation.

Benny Agosto Jr., partner, is board-certified in personal injury trial law and is a member of the Texas Supreme Court Advisory Committee. He is the current Hispanic National Bar Association Region XII president and co-editor in chief of its Journal of Law & Policy. He received the State Bar’s President’s Certificate of Merit and the Houston Bar Association President’s Award in 2006. He is currently on the Houston Bar Association’s board of directors.

Frequently serving as lecturers on litigation throughout the country, firm attorneys are involved in numerous state and national bar organizations, legal publications, journals and community projects.
