Attorney Bernadino "Benny" J. Agosto, Jr., is a partner of Abraham, Watkins, Nichols, Sorrels, Agosto & Friend, a Houston-based firm dedicated to representing people hurt or killed by the negligence of others in personal injury. He handles a variety of type cases, including catastrophic injuries, workplace injuries, motor vehicle accidents, 18-wheeler and commercial truck accidents, medical malpractice, wrongful death and many other type accidents and injuries. He is Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
Mr. Agosto is a well-known leader in several legal communities. He is the President-Elect of the Hispanic National Bar Association as well as the Co-Editor in Chief of its Journal of Law and Policy. He is the Chair of the Texas Bar Journal Editorial Board of the State Bar of Texas. He is also a Co-Chair of the CLE Commission of the Houston Bar Association. His other memberships include the American Association for Justice, the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, the Houston Trial Lawyers Association, Houston Hispanic Bar Association and the Texas Supreme Court Advisory Committee.
In addition to his inclusion on the Texas Super Lawyers list each year since 2004, Mr. Agosto was named as a finalist for the Lawdragon magazine's Leading Plaintiff Lawyer in America in 2009, was listed in H Texas Magazine's list of Top Lawyers for the People in 2008, and received the 2006 Certificate of Merit from the State Bar of Texas.
