At the Houston, Texas law firm of Abraham Watkins, Nichols, Sorrels, Agosto & Friend, attorney Brant J. Stogner consistently tries cases to verdict, successfully trying 12 cases in his first three years at the firm. Today, he almost exclusively represents plaintiffs, focusing his practice on catastrophic personal injury matters, first-party insurance bad faith and claims handling matters, and commercial business disputes. Brant is board-certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in personal injury trial law.
In 2009, Brant won the largest verdict in Texas for workplace safety and injuries. Brant is a board member and committee chair in the Houston Trial Lawyers Association and is a founding member of the South Texas College of Law Young Alumni Council.
In law school, Brant was a member of numerous honor societies and the nationally ranked mock trial and moot court program at South Texas College of Law. Ultimately, Brant won the national championship in mock trial at the American Association for Justice (AAJ) National Trial Competition in his final semester of law school.
After graduating in the top 15 percent of his class from South Texas College of Law, Brant was admitted into the Order of Barristers and received the Dean's Outstanding Student Advocate Award.

Pro bono/Community Service:
- Legal Lines Volunteer providing free legal advice to the public by volunteering and answering telephone calls. This program is administered by the Houston Bar Association.
- I represented O.C. Jackson, pro bono, in his trespass to try title trial. This trial took place in the 61st District Court of Harris County under cause number 2008-11967. I was asked by the judge to represent this individual in his claim for title to the property. This was called to trial on March 9, 2009 and I was able to successfully vest title in the pro bono client., 2009
- Represented Dorothy Dillard, pro bono, in her trial against the Estate of Joe Milton. This trial was held in the 80th District Court of Harris County under cause number 2008-42497. I was asked by the judge to represent this plaintiff because she had a breach of contract claim and DTPA claim against the deceased contractor. I was able to obtain the relief the plaintiff requested and was successful in the trial., 2010
