Profile

 Brenda T. Cubbage has practiced business litigation in North Texas for 30 years. With an emphasis on construction, real estate, title insurance and general business litigation, Ms. Cubbage has represented a broad range of individual and business clients, both as plaintiffs and defendants, extensively in state, federal and bankruptcy courts throughout Texas. Ms. Cubbage co-authored "The Complete Guide to Mechanic's and Materialman's Lien Laws of Texas" from 1985 to 2006, a publication that has been cited by numerous courts in Texas, including the Texas Supreme Court. Ms. Cubbage is also a certified attorney-mediator, and has successfully resolved thousands of disputes since 1990. She also serves as an arbitrator both for the AAA and privately. Ms. Cubbage has been selected as a Super Lawyer in 2005, 2009, 2010 and 2011.

  • Ms. Cubbage has served as a Board Member of the Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas and the Tejas Council since 2003. She provides pro bono legal work to the Girl Scouts and serves on various committees. Ms. Cubbage received the Girl Scout Honor Pin in 2008.She served as a judge for the National High School Mock Trial Championship in Texas in 2007. Ms. Cubbage has also assisted in home building with Habitat For Humanity in Dallas.
