Divorce and Family Law:  Holmes Diggs & Eames is a full-service divorce and family law firm with Cindy Diggs at its helm as managing partner of the Houston office.   
 
The firm handles divorce, custody, adoption, paternity, relocation, prenuptial agreements, divorce assets, grandparents rights, international divorce and child issues, complex divorce estates and high net worth divorces.

Cindy Diggs is often sought-out by the local media for her perspective on family law issues, and is also a frequent lecturer on family law topics.  She is  President-elect of the Houston chapter of the Association of Women Attorneys.  Cindy Diggs is Board Certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization for Family Law and Civil Law.  Diggs has been recognized by Texas Monthly as a Texas Super Lawyer since 2010.  

Cindy Diggs has spent her entire career in Houston, and knows our community.  She is a founding member and advisory board member of the Houston Urban Debate League.  Diggs is also a founding member of the Center for Women in Law at the University of Texas School of Law. Diggs is a member of the Family Law Sections of the State Bar of Texas and the Houston Bar Association as well as the Gulf Coast Family Law  Specialists.   She is also a member of the Texas Association of  Civil Trial and Appellate Specialists.

  • American Jurisprudence supports the notion that a partnership may be created 1) without documentation; 2) without associating it with the name “partnership;” and 3) without even the intent of the parties to the partnership to create a partnership entity.    In other words, regardless of the paperwork, the name or whether the parties involved intended to have a partnership, a partnership may nevertheless come into existence on a de facto basis.
