Over the past 35-plus years as a practicing attorney, Daniel Sheehan has earned a reputation as one of Texas’ hardest working and most imaginative civil trial lawyers. His practice is focused on legal malpractice and business litigation, and he has been Board Certified in Civil Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since 1980.

With more than 20 multimillion-dollar verdicts and settlements for clients, Mr. Sheehan handles complex commercial litigation and represents other lawyers and large law firms in matters ranging from legal malpractice to personal litigation. He has handled numerous trials and appeals in state and federal courts, including the Supreme Court of Texas and U.S. Supreme Court.

Mr. Sheehan graduated first in his class from St. Mary’s University School of Law in 1974 where he was Editor-in-Chief of the law review. Following a one-year clerkship with the Texas Supreme Court, he joined the Dallas firm of Wynne & Jaffee (now Gardere Wynne Sewell).  He later established his own firm, Daniel Sheehan & Associates, LLP, which represents clients in complex litigation and legal malpractice cases.
