Hurricane Rita Bus Fire Litigation (2005-2009) — Along with a team of fellow attorneys, Mr. Rice represented the families of 23 nursing home residents who were killed when the bus caught on fire. The resulting settlement was for $88 million.
PP v. Trucking Company (2008) — Mr. Rice represented California clients whose vehicle was hit by an 18-wheeler. A confidential settlement was obtained for their severe orthopedic injuries and permanent disability.
Conner et al. v. British Petroleum (2007) — After a deadly explosion at the BP Chemical plant in Texas City, Mr. Rice represented over 40 victims and obtained confidential settlements for all his clients.
