Profile

A graduate of The University of Texas School of Law, David Carlock began his trial career in the U.S. Marine Corps, where he served as a chief defense counsel and military judge in the Republic of Vietnam. In 1970, David went into private practice in Dallas focusing on family, criminal, and general trial law. Since becoming Board Certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in 1979, David has limited his practice to the resolution of family law issues by trial, mediation, and collaboration. David has been honored by his peers with memberships in the prestigious American Board of Trial Advocates and American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. David is the past president of the Texas Chapter of the AAML.
