• In June of 2011 the Public Justice Foundation released the finalists for the 2011 Trial Lawyer of the Year Award.  Public Justice presents this award each year to the attorney or attorneys who have made the most outstanding contribution to the public interest through precedent-setting litigation. The Nix Law Firm is proud to announce that David Nix has been selected as one of this year's finalist.  The winner of the Award will be announced at the annual Awards Dinner on July 12,2011 in New York City., National Trial Lawyer of the Year - Finalist, Public Justice Foundation, 2011

Pro bono/Community Service:

• David has continued to remain heavily involved in community activities. He served on his local School Board from 1991 to 1997, serving as the President of that School Board for a two year stint. David has also been actively involved in his church, serving on the Parish Council of St. Jude Catholic Church as well as serving as a regular lector and commentator and chairing several committees. David has also been involved as an officer with the Wichita Falls Summer Basketball League Program and has served as a coach since the early ‘80's for various teams within this program. David has also served as a Director for Union Square Federal Credit Union since 2003.
