Duane L. Coker is a respected Texas family law and probate attorney. Based in Denton, his law firm serves individuals and families throughout the Denton, Dallas, Tarrant and Collin counties. He handles divorce, child custody, child support, probated wills, guardianships and related matters through both collaboration and litigation. As a certified mediator, he has also successfully mediated numerous family law and divorce cases.

Mr. Coker graduated with his J.D. from the Baylor University School of Law in 1992. In 1998, he opened his own practice, Duane L. Coker & Associates, PC. He has been asked to speak at many different continuing legal education courses, and he was recently chosen to help open the 2010 Texas Marriage Dissolution Boot Camp Course.

Mr. Coker is the president of the Denton County Bar Association and a senior founding member of the Texas College of Collaborative Law. He is also a charter member of the Collaborative Law Institute of Texas and a member of many other legal associations, including the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals, the Denton County Alternative Dispute Resolution Program and more.
