Attorney E.G. Morris, familiarly known as Gerry, has represented individuals accused of state and federal crimes for more than 30 years. Based in Austin, Texas, he is a board-certified criminal law specialist, and he has held a number of leadership positions with both state and national organizations.
Currently, Gerry is a member of the Board of Directors of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (NACDL). His past involvement includes a term as president of the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association and a term as chair of the Criminal Law and Procedure Section of the Travis County Bar.
Gerry is 1977 graduate of the University of Texas School of Law. He is licensed in all federal district courts in Texas and has been admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court. As an experienced criminal defense attorney, he represents clients in trial and on appeal. Gerry is best known for his work on the Branch Davidian Trial, where he secured his client an acquittal on all charges.
