Erin E. Salisbury, Associate
In her nine years practicing law, Erin has appeared before the U.S. Supreme Court, where she assisted with the briefing and preparation of oral arguments in Kennedy v. Plan Administration for DuPont Savings Investment Plan, et al. She is a civil and probate litigation attorney with experience in insurance coverage, guardianship disputes, will contests and fiduciary litigation. Erin’s peers recognized her as a Texas Rising Star annually from 2008-2013.
An accomplished trial lawyer, Erin has represented individuals in the appointment and service as guardians and administrator of estates, and herself served as a court appointed guardian and court appointed administrator of estates.
The Houston native received her Bachelor of Arts in history from the University of the South, Sewanee in 2002 and her Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Texas School of Law in December 2004. Prior to joining Eggleston & Briscoe, Erin worked with the Houston firm of MacIntyre & McCulloch, LLP, focusing on probate litigation matters.
Erin acquired courtroom experience participating in the Juvenile Justice Clinic and the Travis County District Attorneys Program at the University of Texas School of Law. She was a member of the Criminal Law Journal and has served as a member and Vice President of the Board for Attorneys in Tax and Probate.
Erin is licensed to practice law in all Texas trial courts. She is also licensed to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas. She is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Houston Bar Association, Houston Young Lawyers Association, and a Board Member of St. Agnes Young Professionals Organization.
